What has adorned gardens in the past other than plants? This exhibit looks at a wide variety of antique and vintage European and American outdoor ornaments, garden-inspired objects, tools, ephemera and more.

This year's event features six spectacular gardens. Also, stop at The Shaker Historical Society to see a garden-themed exhibit.
2009 Garden Tour Highlights
- Enjoy a stately historic garden recreated to its 1920s splendor using the original plans by landscape architect A.D. Taylor.
- Explore a large South Park Boulevard garden located on the site of the North Union Shakers “Holy Grove”, and walk the network of paths to discover an abundance of fanciful, artistic ornaments.
- Browse through a mini-Zen garden and discover a rich abundance of specimen trees, varied vegetation and peaceful retreats in a modest-sized plot.
- Visit a resort-like backyard haven with a pool and fountain, filled with abundantly planted colored foliage and framed with elaborate, elegant hardscaping.
Garden Tour Tickets
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event. The tickets, which also serve as maps to the gardens, may be purchased at:
